identiMetrics was born on Bastille Day 2002. The founders are Dr. Jay Fry and Anne Marie Dunphy.
Jay was a school administrator who had a problem with missing student ID cards, forgotten PINs, unauthorized building access, and inaccurate student records. Anne Marie was an investment banker who specialized in micro-cap companies.
identiMetrics was created to solve Jay’s student identification problem. Jay wanted an ID system that was designed specifically for the unique needs of schools. He knew first hand both the joys and headaches of being a school administrator.
A stone's throw from historic Philadelphia, championship Eagles & Philly Cheesesteaks.
Jay also knew how important it was to develop a biometric ID management solution for school administrators so they could feel less stress in managing all they have to get done in a day, often in less than optimal conditions.
Over the years, identiMetrics has developed from a finger scanning system that worked in single school and small district settings to a robust biometric ID management solution with specialized administrative tools required by larger districts. Nationwide, more than 1 million students are using our award-winning biometrics every day throughout their schools.
We have customers in 48 states as well as US territories and schools abroad. In fact, over 70% of the school districts in West Virginia are using identiMetrics for their food service operations, attendance, library and other areas of their schools.
