identiMetrics was founded in 2002 to solve a problem that school administrators know all too well: missing student IDs, forgotten PINs, inaccurate records, and operational friction that slows down the school day.
Co-founder Dr. Jay Fry experienced those challenges firsthand as a school administrator and technology coordinator. He wanted a student identification system designed specifically for the realities of K–12 operations—fast-moving environments where accuracy, accountability, and ease of use matter every day.
As schools evolved, so did identiMetrics. Building on our trusted student identity platform, we expanded our solutions to include automated attendance management for PowerSchool, helping schools eliminate manual processes for tardies, arrivals, and classroom attendance. We also introduced emergency reunification solutions that help districts quickly and accurately reunite students with approved guardians during critical incidents.
More than twenty years later, that same mission continues to drive everything we do: creating practical, reliable technology that helps schools operate more efficiently, improve student accountability, and keep students safe.
School operations are different. The stakes are high, resources are limited, and systems must work reliably at student speed.
When questions arise or time is critical, responsive, knowledgeable customer support isn’t a luxury—it’s essential.
That’s why identiMetrics builds and supports solutions exclusively for schools.
Today:
Schools use identiMetrics across food service, attendance, libraries, campus activities, and student accountability workflows.
Many of education’s leading technology providers partner with identiMetrics because of the value our solutions bring to schools, our shared customers, and the broader K-12 ecosystem.
Our goal is simple: deliver technology that reduces administrative burden, strengthens accountability, and helps schools operate with greater confidence.
The way we work is shaped by the schools we serve — environments that depend on trust, accountability, flexibility, and people who care deeply about doing things right.
Our customers are the reason we exist. We aim to satisfy, support, and genuinely delight the schools we serve.
We believe in acting ethically, fairly, and with integrity — no matter the situation.
We do what we say we’re going to do. Always.
Safeguarding student information is foundational to everything we build and every relationship we maintain.
